Sling splits its lineup into two tiers on purpose: Orange has the ESPN family (ESPN, ESPN2) and the Disney-owned channels, Blue has Fox News, USA, FX, and the NFL Network. You cannot get both ESPN and Fox News on one Sling tier. That's the whole reason Sling Orange & Blue exists as a $60.99-$65.99/mo combo plan. If ESPN is the one channel your household would actually miss, Orange alone is the cheapest path, not the combo.
The broader services (YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, DirecTV Stream) all cost more than Sling Orange but carry ESPN alongside local network affiliates and most other cable channels in one plan, which matters if ESPN isn't the only thing you'd lose without cable.
